Manage user roles and permissions
Understand what Admins, Cashiers, and Accountants can do in Kadova.
Quick answer
Roles control which actions a user can perform. Only admins manage billing, settings, and integrations.
Role overview
- Admin — full organisation configuration, users, billing, and integrations.
- Cashier — issue, scan, and redeem gift cards at assigned stores.
- Accountant — read-only access to reports, exports, and settlements.
Steps
- Open Settings → Users.
- Select a user and change their role or store access.
- Save; changes apply on the next login or page refresh.
Common issues
- Cashier cannot open billing — expected; upgrade role only if they need admin tasks.
