Create and manage API keys
Generate scoped API keys for your webshop, POS, or custom integrations.
Quick answer
Create a key with only the permissions you need and store it securely — it is shown only once.
Steps
- Go to Settings → Integrations → API keys.
- Click Create key, name it (e.g. "Production webshop").
- Choose only the permissions you need: issuing, redeeming, or view-only access.
- Copy the key immediately and configure your integration.
- Rotate or revoke keys that are no longer used.
Expected outcome
Your integration authenticates successfully against the Kadova API.
Common issues
- 401 unauthorised — check the key is active and has the right permissions.
- Rate limited — batch requests or contact support for high-volume needs.
